Don Kline

Singing before he could talk, writing melodies before he ever heard of song structure, and performing as far back as he can remember....Don Kline has creativity and music etched deep into his soul. After graduating with a degree in music and marketing, he set out to work every music job he could find.

Now, as a composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and arranger, Don's reward comes from seeing songs connect with an audience. As a singer who has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall and the Vatican to theaters and hole-in-the-wall rock clubs, he easily relates to the people he works with -- letting the music evolve naturally and creatively without anything getting in the way.

Don's experience in the industry is extremely well-rounded, which he attributes to helping keep his creative instincts sharp. He's worked professionally as a music editor, booking agent, tour manager, and marketing director, and has produced, recorded, and performed with artists like Jesus Jones, The Faint, Sister Machine Gun, Chris Connelly, Kill Hannah, and Rasputina. Don has also received numerous Detroit Music Awards nominations, was a featured artist (with his band Esion) on Invisible/Caroline Records' Notes From Thee Real Underground compilation series, and has licensed his music to MTV.
