Marino & Marino

Tracey and Vance Marino are full-time composers and producers who have been a duo since they met May 15, 1995. That night, at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, they started talking after they realized each of their dates had stood them up. They've been writing, producing, and performing music together ever since.

In April 2010, their song "Carnival Lights" was placed in the Disney Touchstone Pictures film "The Last Song" starring Miley Cyrus. They are composers for 30 production music libraries worldwide, including Megatrax and Studio 51.

In August 2009, the Marinos were signed as composers to write music for a popular daytime talk TV show and its affiliates. They also compose custom tracks for libraries that provide the music for "Access Hollywood," FOX Sports, VH1, TLC, etc.

Since 2007, the Marinos have had over 600 music placements in film, TV, video games, broadcast commercials, websites, film trailers, and more than 30 theatre productions. They have four holiday songs in print by Piano Press.

They've written articles and have been panelists or lecturers for several songwriting and composing groups, sharing their resources and knowledge of how to write for production music libraries, their passion.
