AIMEE TERRIN BIOGRAPHY

Riding high on the success of her recent award as "Solo Artist of the Year" at the 2006 Los Angeles Music Awards, Aimee is proud to release this much anticipated independent album "Perfect Imperfection".

Aimee Terrin was blessed with the ability to sing since she first uttered sound. Singing and performing as a classically trained pianist and vocalist by the tender age of six. With influences such as Billy Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn and Duke Ellington, Aimee's style would later develop into a unique pop-rock/hip-hop blend; a sound that would gain the interest of music mogul, multi-platinum producer and CEO of AFTERMATH RECORDS, Andre Young, aka DR. DRE, who would sign her to her first major recording deal.

The native Los Angeles, Californian has been hired to work with acts such as hip-hop's highly acclaimed emcee, RAKIM. Aimee's vocal presence can be heard on major recording artists' projects such as MASSIVE ATTACK, GLEN BALLARD, PANCHO SANCHEZ, and even the legendary Father of Funk, GEORGE CLINTON. Clinton developed a particular fondness for Aimee's ability to sing from her soul. "She delivers the funk!" is his accolade to her endearing talent as a vocalist.

After making the decision to go independent with her solo project, Terrin has recorded over one hundred compositions that would include an interesting mix of Soul and Pop-Rock, much of which she holds the title as writer and producer.

She has written songs with artists such as, FLOETRY and even the rock group P.O.D. Her debut album Perfect Imperfection is lyrically driven by the artist's real life experiences, making her as she describes, "a perfect imperfection".
