Whom are hypoCenter?
hypoCenter consists of William Zattára and Gabriel Hidalgo, both current students at the Los Angeles Recording School. Zattára's background is in electronic, classical, & trip hop, while Hidalgo's background leans more on heavy metal, classic rock, & jazz.
While in school, Zattára and Hidalgo decided to intern for the video game company, "iPwn Studios" and began working with a team of composers on the "Blood Knight" project.
The style created by Zattára and Hidalgo, specific to this project, has been a blend of dark electronic trip hop, rock, orchestral, and some choral elements. There is a pop aspect as well that keeps each piece melodic, exciting, & easy to follow by immediately grabbing the listener's attention with a solid hook.
Following the video game's outcome, hypoCenter will either continue making music for other projects within the company, or each go in separate ways.
