In a varied Professional Career, on the East and West Coast Rita Mizrahi Shamie has done it all. Theatre, and Cabaret, where she garnered the Best "Breakthrough in Cabaret" Award. You have probably seen her on TV, or heard her in countless Voiceovers and Commercials for "General Electric", "Maxwell House Coffee", "Head & Shoulders Shampoo", & "Subaru" amongst others. Rita has provided ADR, and has Voiced Movies like "Look Who's Talking Too", and "Die Hard II". Rita is a lyricist currently writing original songs for children and Grownups.

Married to her Manager Husband Eddie for 42 years, Mother of Three, and Grandmother of Ten, Rita turned her many talents to Children's Music when her Grandchildren were being born. Named "Hero of the Week" by Television's KCOP Channel 13. She was featured in a segment for her Contribution, and Dedication, to the Handicapped, and the infirmed. Founder, and First President of "Arrive Alive", an "Anti Drinking & Driving" Educational Program still in Successful Operation in the Beverly Hills School System today (some twenty years later). Founder and the First President of the "Sephardic Magen David Temple Sisterhood at L.A.". Founder of the Yeshiva Now Known as "Maimonides Academy" at L.A. Honored as Educational Chair Person by the Women's Conference of Jewish Federation Council at L.A. Chair person from the Jewish Welfare Fund Sephardic Women’s Division.
