Dylan has been a singer/songwriter and performing musician for over 20 years. In her 2009 released debut album Cry on Cue, Dylan takes credit for producing and writing all original music as well as all music video production. In addition to being an artist and musician, Dylan also manages Dylan Records, Dylan Entertainment, and Dylan Publishing, all of which she established in 2007.

2008-2009 Press Kit
Kit Dylan Arrieta has battled life as a scientist, musician, and actor. Sporadically over her "growing pains" years, Dylan performed with local musical groups and acted in school and community plays, in which all of these experiences were ephemeral. Her livelihood came from working on scientific research and experiments, and thus, her music and acting careers became nothing more than a hobby or forgotten skill. For years she has suppressed her passion for the entertainment industry and struggled with the should-haves, would-haves, and could-haves for not pursuing a career in music and theater/film.
As a result of a work-related injury that happened in early 2005, Dylan realized how important her health is to her, and how essential it was for her to reprioritize her career and life goals. Because doing too much of what she did not have a passion for impaired her emotional, physical, and spiritual being, Dylan has committed herself to doing what she should have done a long time ago, and that is, be a full-time musician and entertainer. Dylan realized that only she has the control to do what is best for her, and working for herself definitely gives her the ability to express her interests and talents.
With the help of her recognizable peers and the Jablonski Law Group (legal advisors), Dylan was able to form her first company, Dylan Records (2006). After two years of running an official business, Dylan formed two more companies: Dylan Entertainment and Dylan Publishing.
Dylan's first official taste in the music industry happened in January 2006 when she was asked to join the band 669. She became the fourth member (and only female) in the band. Because most of their time was spent on working on the band's second album, they had little opportunity to do live performances. However, the shows they did participate in had great turnouts (thanks to PRIDE). Nearing the end of finishing the second album, Dylan was presented with an opportunity to pursue the entertainment world as a solo artist. Without giving it a second thought, Dylan left 669 in May 2007.
Shortly after leaving 669, Dylan joined a team of producers, engineers, and technical and literary advisors at the Mirror Sound Studios. They began the production and recording phases for the Cry on Cue album (a Dylan Records label), which will be released in November 2008. Musicians from the bands Crime Scene and Bad Dream Good Breakfast, as well as artists that have performed in Star Search and worked with Madonna are featured in this album.
Another group of key players that Dylan has teamed up with is DT Productions. In January 2008, DT Productions began the music video composition on Dylan's first single, Suffocated. In addition to the music video, this music video and DVD features the making of Suffocated and story board comparison and productions stills taken from the set. The video release took place in April 2008.
In Fall of 2008, Pineapplepixels Productions directed and produced the Cylon 8 and Cry on Cue music videos. These videos have been released with the CD album as a double-disc CD/DVD set (release date: December 23, 2009). Included in the DVD is the Suffocated music video, photo albums of Kit Dylan’s journey, and other fun facts and bonus footages of the video shoots.
The start of 2009 brings Dylan to Hawaii where she currently resides to work on her music. She has also been perfoming at local Honolulu venues to promote the Cry on Cue CD as well as songs from her second album (not yet released). A new single along with a music video will be released this fall.
