L.O.B.

L.O.B. is the brainchild of Curt Wilhelmson and Sean Kelly, born of different mothers in different eras, yet twins in musical thought and idea. The music L.O.B. creates is a sonic canvas meant to be built on in the mind. Conjuring images of darkness and light, fear and happiness the music is meant to drag emotions from the depth of ones soul. Between the two of them they have over forty years experience in the music industry. Curt started playing in rock bands in the late 70’s and started writing original compositions at the same time. Heavily influenced by the music of Vangelis (early Albedo 0.39, Heaven and Hell, Spiral), Jean Michelle Jarre, Genesis and Yes, he was also drawn film music especially the work of Ennio Morricone and Asian film music. Sean, a child of the 80’s was influenced by the music of his heritage (Irish), new metal and Japanese Anime. They found a common thread in their love of instrumental music and how it could create moods and feeling’s without a word ever being spoken. L.O.B. was born. Since joining forces they have released four albums. L.O.B. is a regular featured artist on the TDFZ radio show in London, U.K. They have been featured on “Hawke Chillout Sessions” HFM radio Market Harborough, England. They have been featured on “Gagliarchives Radio” Z88.9 Philadelphia, PA. They have also been featured in the online Dutch electronic music magazine EMG. Their music has been sold all over the world through ITunes, predominately in Europe and Asia. They have over 4000 friends on their MySpace and have had their music used in yoga classes in Minnesota. With each new project they continue to push musical boundaries mixing styles and creating ever widening soundscapes.
