that modest rancher on a hill in Trafford, Pa where i grew up, balancing baseball, boyscouts, alterboy-ing, basketball, golf, chorus, band, school and piano lessons, all of which i enjoyed. the little grand piano my parents got me is gone, as are many of the neighbors who would hear me playing through the open windows. the music still comes out of my heart, down my arms, and out my hands. almost 10 years of classical lessons built the foundation & along with an additional 40 years of living, raising 3 kids, working and rubbing elbows with the cream of the crop and the poorest of the poor i now find myself just making music for a very modest living. playing solo in restaurants has been part of my living for nearly 30 years. the rest of my work life as an accounting type has been shredded by now. not so with the music.

drums in the high school band, guitar in college for fun. always tracked down the nearest piano. glad i did not give it up, like so many people i meet.

i think those who listen to my music, much of which is improvised around a beginning chord structure, will hear a mix of passion, joy, melancholy, hope, and wonderment. those things that i think make us all play our own life rather than just playing the instrument. my first professionally mastered and packaged cd was recently finished by Discmakers.
