Paul Otten (ASCAP) is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and live performer from Cincinnati, Ohio. Paul makes his living locally in Cincinnati as a live musician and a songwriter. His songs have appeared in the ABC show "Happy Endings," the MTV reality show "I Used To Be Fat," "Access Hollywood," "Taco Time" commercials in Seattle, online videos for Englishtown.com and Monster.com, "Teen Mom" on MTV, the cable tv show "High School Confidential' and the independent film "Run Hollywood Summer" (2009) and currently has songs signed with a major LA based publisher/library, 2 major East Coast music publishers and a San Francisco based music library. He recently started Custom Ear Candy, where he has written customized songs for radio jingles, wedding, birthdays, graduations and children. Paul's wide variety of musical influences, obsession with music and love of any songwriting challenge keep him constantly striving for higher achievement and growth as an artist. Paul built his recording studio in his home and records using Logic Studio. He plays all the instruments on his recordings using the latest sound libraries for midi recording, a collection of Fender and Gibson guitars, ukeleles, a banjolele and some real percussion sounds when needed. He has access to fine studio musicians and singers when that is required for a project.
