The Life of Ronan

Born in the UK, Ronan wrote his first song at the age of 15. He joined his first band, RDK, during school, joined The New Gypsies, a post-punk indie band while studying art and design at college and was asked to join The Private Function, a soul/funk band when he was out busking. He toured for 7 years with Slap In The Face, co-wrote most of their songs and played regularly at Madame Wong's in Santa Monica. He studied music technology and played in Swineherd, an industrial band signed to Elemental Records. His course led to a job at Real World Studios and technical credits on Up by Peter Gabriel and The Guitar Trio by Al DiMeola, Paco DeLucia and John McLaughlin and an engineering credit on 10 by Wet Wet Wet. He played alongside Peter Gabriel at a party, did the Radio 3 24-hour music marathon and gigged with Big Night Out, a soul band. He now gigs regularly with a charity band, Monkey See Monkey Do and has his own music company, One Nil Creative Productions Ltd.
