Steve Fitch is a musician-composer-writer-producer, in an unpredictable and broad range of styles. Although initially formally-trained, he is largely self-taught as to what training could not have prepared nor predicted.

Formerly an occasionally-performing singer-songwriter and/or experimental musician, and now a dedicated craftsman of many genres who does not perform live, Steve Fitch has made music corresponding to his past and present artistic "incarnations." This is owing to both that he took a deliberate hiatus from music between 1994 and 2009, and to the advances in technology during those 15 years. Thanks to music-creation software, Steve Fitch's creativity has been exceeding its own boundaries, producing an entire career's worth of CD titles between mid-2009 and the present.

The styles and genres of Steve Fitch's music are too varied to describe; one must listen to several selections to begin to get the idea.
