Christine Malone Kline

Kline is a composer / lyricist who writes in the classical, jazz, musical theater, childrens, and new-age genres. Her classical works include several choral pieces and solo works for the female voice. Her major work, Journey, was premiered as a choral ballet at Carnegie Hall. Kline has also co-written the music for the new musical "Destiny" with her writing partner Cecilia Beatty. The Beatty and Kline duo are a mother / daughter team who have written several jazz pieces including "On This Cold Winter Night" and "Christmas in Cape May", which were released last winter. Kline's children's songs are all inspired by her work as a music teacher. She is in her eighteenth year of teaching voice, violin and piano to grades pre-kindergarten through eight. Kline lives in Pennsylvania with her artist / drummer husband John, and their two children.
